About our surveys and focus groups

Here's what you need to know about our Minnesota Community Surveys and focus groups, the state's newest civic data resource:

• Online surveys are conducted every 4-8 weeks using our proprietary survey platform.
• Surveys are in English and Spanish by default.
• Survey respondents can be recruited for focus groups.
• Every survey provides reliable results on:
  • Statewide, the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota
  • Black, Latino and Asian adults. These groups are oversampled to allow for data disaggregation.
• We know who takes our surveys, because we recruit people using a comprehensive list of addresses in Minnesota.
• We have detailed demographics on respondents, so you can focus your survey dollars on the questions that matter most.
• Statistical software isn't needed to interpret your data! If desired, you'll receive an executive report with key findings and a spreadsheet of results.
